Volodymyr Stretovych, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, stated that the issue of unauthorized construction acquired a threatening nature. "Apparently, enhancement of effective legislation is insufficient to deal with the said matter", - he stressed. He deems necessary to secure immediate intervention of the State, efficient cooperation of law enforcement and supervisory bodies with relevant executive bodies and agencies in charge of urban development.
Oleksandr Bondarenko, Head of the State Architectural Construction Inspection, reported on the trends of cooperation with the law enforcement bodies in the field of supervision over observance of legislation on urban development.

The participants of the hearings recommend that relevant central executive bodies develop and ratify the Plan of Joint Actions of law enforcement bodies and agencies of the State Architectural Construction Inspection concerning detection and prevention of unauthorized construction.
